Knock USA Provides Efficient Filter Regulators

Picture

While you can easily get both pressure regulators and air filters separately at Knock USA, we have air
filter regulators that combine both the parts into a single product. It improves overall system performance, lessens leakage risk by reducing air connections, and of course occupies less space.

Different Kinds of Filter Regulators

The different types of filter controllers available at KNOCK USA include:
  • BG0, filters 5 microns
  • BG1, filters 5 microns
  • BG2, filters 40 microns
  • BG3, filters 5 microns
  • BG5, filters 40 microns
The 40-micron filters are typically fitted in as standard options, for instance in an integrated gauge. The smaller 5-micron filters further complement the filtration efficiency.

How to Choose A Filter Regulator

Picture
Choosing a filter regulator requires you to consider several factors, such as:
  • The required flow rate for the system or process: to determine the port size
  • The level of dryness and filtration needed: A 40-micron filter is typically a general purpose one, but some applications also require a 5-micron filter. 95% of the water content will be removed by a 40-micron filter. To remove the leftover 5% the filters can be added as a series, taking the water removal up to 99%. The vapor and oil removal filters can be added after the 5-micron filter.
  • The supply pressure and the required pressure to operate downstream equipment: these aspects are managed by the pressure regulator. The filter regulator unit lets a quantifiable pressure amount decrease.

Applications of Air Filter Regulator Parts

Any compressed air system is likely to have a filter controller unit. You can easily spot them in the primary supply line as well as in branches that supply certain parts that may require higher-grade filtration or a different pressure supply.

Fine Filter Silencer

If you need to get rid of exhaust air from your pneumatic control systems, you need a filter silencer. It discharges the exhaust air into the atmosphere using a fine filter cartridge that filters up to 99.99% of the impurities!
That’s not all: it also reduces the loud exhaust noise, providing relief. A condensate drain is required, however, to discharge the condensate that gets accumulated in a plastic bowl placed beneath it.
  • This rids your exhaust air of 99.99% of oil and other toxins
  • The exhaust noise gets reduced vastly thanks to the fine filter silencer
